The importance for learning contemporary issues because we need to know about the problems that are going on around our Country so then we can do things to improve our Country. I am impacted by this class because I learned a lot about different things going on such as Human rights being violated that I didn’t even think could happen.

Friday, September 11, 2050, we have come to end with all the gang violence. Gang violence has been present for many, many years. We always thought it would never end, and get worst.
Especially when a young black boy was shot and killed related to gangs. Then shot at his funeral. When the young man was buried they dug him up shot him repeatedly and laid him on his mothers’ front porch.
We should be thankful for the rappers because of how they changed their “swag”. They really had and have an influence on all children and teenagers. Also our Country isn’t in a recession any more. The recession was one of the main points that contributed to gang violence.
We are so glad that all this violence has been cut short. Now we can finally let our kids outside and don’t have to monitor them as hard.

The Wikileaks have released so much information to Iraq. They don’t know why they did this spill. Julian Assange is behind all of this. I think the Wikileaks are causing more problems than solving problems. It is none of the public business because to me that’s invading people’s privacy. I take it as if I filled out an application and someone come into that job trying to get my information and the boss give it to them. To me there mission is to put every body info on blast.

The current situation in the United States is too many illegal immigrants are over here and they need to get it together and become an United States citizen. Illegal immigrants are taking our money, jobs, housing, and they aren’t all healthy. So they are bringing in more diseases. They are also making our country become over populated. No you can not just become an American citizen. You have to take a test on the U.S Constitution and pass in order to get your “Green Card”. So by illegal immigrants working and not paying taxes is taking away from our schools, health care, hospitals, roads, and other public things. I am not real certain if we are justified or not because we are losing money either way it go. I think the invisible fence will work out if we actually tried.

I think the fence will work out. By us trying to make this fence we are losing money. Then again we are still are losing money letting them come in. So I don’t have a set solution on what we should do. We are right for having our opinion on not letting illegal immigrants in our Country. This article is about a married woman having 6 babies outside of her marriage. She had killed all of them babies. Her and her husband had a daughter that they gave up for adoption. They had another daughter that is 19 years of age. They had 13 year old son who dies from cerebral palsy. The father and the daughter find bones in a closet in many coolers and one was filled with cement. The family didn’t believe it was human bones. Once they found more bones the police suspected them to be human bones. No one knew about these pregnancies. She had a job where she wore scrubs. She had no maternity leaves or any medical needs leave. The hospitals had no record of baby births or prenatal care existed. This mother has been charged with a homicide.

This is very amazing. How didn’t they smell that. She played her pregnancies well. That’s amazing how no one new she was pregnant and she was with 2 men. I wonder what made her do that. I think should go and get some help because something must be wrong. I think she should get like life because that’s 6 people she killed. I want to know where she had them. This article is about 6 young boys responsible for a string of burglaries.The kids ranged from 10-15 years of age. They have been watch dogs of these houses they were planning to rob. The 10 year old boy was knocking on each doors to see if any one was home. On Monday Detective Envy stated the kids felt they did nothing wrong because they didn’t hurt anyone. The children face felony charges for stealing computers,jewelry,guns and other items from 9 burglaries since April. Police say they are expecting to lock up 2 more children and 2 more adults.

When I first read this I said some adult had these young kids do this. The kids can’t say they didn’t know what they were doing because they have developed common sense. Also when I first read this I was wondering were any adults involved. I thought that was very weird. I think the police need to get more information behind this because I think adults talked these kids into doing this and told them they were going to get something for it.

This article is about a Chiense boy suriving from a 20 story fall. The boy was pnly 10 years old. He fell from a 20 story apartment building and landed on a parked car. Doctor says he have somebleeding on the brain and some skull fractures. People don’t know what the fall was caused by but they think it was a accident. The cars’ back window was shattered when he hit the car. Doctor’s say its a miracle that he survived this.

I think it is a miracle that he survived. I want to say cngradulations! This isn’t the first time this happened. Last month aman survived from a 39 story fall. I want to know how this happened. I want to know will he be long term effected by the fall. It is not every day you hear about some one surviving from that high of a fall.

The whole point of this article is to legalize marijuana. Adults in California supports this whole idea. The Obama Administration is truly against legalization of marijuana. Children are effected by this legalization because people will get it and sell it to kids. That will make more kids more worried about marijuana than school. If it passes in California then there is a chance for it passing in other states. If this does not pass then it s not a high chance of it passing in other states. I don’t really see a connection to today’s society. I just know people are really fighting to legalize marijuana.

I don’t really know if this should be active.It’s like people are still going to get and use the drug. It really doesn’t matter if it is legal or not. I think they should just come up with a conclusion and be done with it. Why are we wasting time on legalizing marijuana when we should be worried about putting a end to the war in Afghan.

This documentary was about if the U.S should leave our troops in Afghanistan. Robert Greenwald did provide a bunch of evidence to prove how bad Afghan wants us out. The people stated there are more suicide attacks. The more troops means more injuries and deaths, which are causing insurgents to connect with the Taliban’s. Also in the movie people were saying all the U.S is doing is blowing up their houses and making it so they can’t provide for there kids. This was a good documentary and it connected to my opinion to the war. I agree that the U.S should stop sending troops over because it is causing more deaths and injuries. It gave me a lot of info that I didn’t know was going on over there. Yes I think “war profiteering” is active. Their have been known of some people taking pictures and getting credit for it by getting paid. This can be legal such as in the case were people are making and supplying weapons and clothes for troops. I don’t think it should be legal to take credit for other people work and getting paid off it. That’s not right! By showing this movie I learned that helping others isn’t always helpful. This was o so beneficial.

We are in Afghan because of a realtaliation of 9/11. We are trying to get back at the people who hurt us.

I think this war should of been over because its dumb to try and fight something you can’t really fight.

I think the government should listen to the publics views because we are fighting something that is really unknown.

I think we have won the war if the Taliban people are defeated. I feel as if we lost the war if the war is everlasting and we haven’t came to an agreement or if the Taliban has over ruled Afghanistan.

I think we should listen to the public and get our troops back home and let the countries deal with their on problems.
